Axis offers the only search experience that allows you to enter your search, see and interact with visual results, all without ever leaving the page you are on. Axis seamlessly integrates with your favorite desktop browser and automatically connects your online experiences across multiple devices. Axis is available today for download across iOS devices and as a desktop plug-in for HTML5-enabled browsers.

Very interesting. Essentially Axis is middle layer between you and your browser. You can install it on your desktop browser of choice as a plug-in, and then download the app on your iPhone or iPad. On the iOS, you have some cool features for picking up your browsing from one device to the other as your current page carries over.

Axis address one of the bigger modern problems of device portability. People hop from desktops and between mobile devices, but syncing your experience isn't transparent. iCloud gets close with seamless bookmark sync and Reading List, but Axis seems to take things to a new level.
