Apple late Monday issued Thunderbolt Software Update version 1.2.1 for Macs with a Thunderbolt port. The update adds support for Apple's new Gigabit Ethernet Adapter, which as the name suggests, allows users to connect their Mac via Ethernet. The product is geared towards MacBook Air and MacBook Pro Retina machines, which lack on-board Ethernet.
The update is a followup to last week's version 1.2 release, which cause compatibility issues. This version so far sees trouble free.
