Apple: Mountain Lion passes 3 million downloads

Apple today announced that downloads of OS X® Mountain Lion have exceeded three million in four days, making it the most successful OS X release in Apple’s history.

Obviously that number includes multiple installations, but a pretty quick adoption by many Mac users. Likely demand is driven by both the low $20 price and digital distribution.
